It is offered as part of the IFRAE project Power, Counter-power, Influence coordinated by Guibourg Delamotte and Chloé Froissart, and Chloé Froissart's master's seminar Politics in Contemporary China, actors and institutions, and the Project Co-Ref.

In 2023, the Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres (AIBL) awarded the Stanislas Julien Medal to Catherine Despeux for her annotated edition of Lu Yu's Tea Classic (Les Belles Lettres, 2023). In this context, the CEIB will welcome Catherine Despeux on October 2, 2024 to present this work.

On Tuesday December 7 and Wednesday December 8, 2021, Mission Handicap and the Pôle Vie Étudiante are organizing Disability Awareness Days! Students, teachers and staff from Inalco and BULAC are invited to come and ask questions about the different types of disability during this fun and participative day, thanks to our partners: Starting-Block, Guy Renard, Handicap International, Bouchons d'amour and BDE.
