On December 14, 2022, the Fondation Danielle Mitterrand awarded its Prix Collectif 2022 to four local, grassroots initiatives in northern and eastern Syria, grouped under the name "Les bâtisseuses et bâtisseurs d'utopies du Nord-Est de la Syrie". Among these initiatives, the "Green Braids" ecological reforestation program, launched in October 2020, is led by Gulistan Sido, a doctoral student at Inalco, hosted as part of the PAUSE program, with the support of the Inalco Foundation.

On Friday, December 16, 2022, the Board of Directors adopted the Inalco Student Associations Charter, the aim of which is to provide a framework for associative life and actively contribute to its development. A charter signing ceremony was held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, in the presence of Jean-François Huchet, President of Inalco, and the 18 signatory associations.

The Bureau de la vie étudiante (BVE), whose creation was voted by the Board of Directors on December 16, 2022, was officially installed on January 20. This new body is made up entirely of elected students and representatives of Inalco's student associations, and has 126 members. Its mission is to help improve student life by participating in the definition and implementation of the institution's student life policy.

This study day - concluding a month-long exhibition - revisits Chinese stamping, a technique for reproducing engraved texts and images, usually on stone, in ink on paper. Rather than presenting stamping solely as a research medium for the philologist, this project approaches the technique from another perspective: visual and material culture.
