Videos (3 min maximum) must be submitted by October 18, 2021. Be creative, three prizes of between €1,500 and €500 are up for grabs!

The international survey "Recherche, formation et expertise sur des terrains "empêchés" ou "entravés" : pratiques, méthodes et nouvelles ressources", initiated by Inalco, invites researchers and young scholars in areal studies to answer a questionnaire based on their most recent field experience. The questionnaire aims to shed light on the evolution of practices, survey methods and research training in SHS in contexts where access to fieldwork and data collection are made difficult or "prevented" by various circumstances.

Launch of Inalco's first writing residency with Franco-Bulgarian writer Elitza Gueorguieva

Inalco has set up a writing residency project, supported by the Île-de-France Region, in collaboration with teacher-researchers from the Literary Translation and Language Didactics Master's program and three research teams (PLIDAM, CERLOM, CREE). This first residency welcomes Elitza Gueorguieva, Franco-Bulgarian novelist and patron of the 2024 edition of the Inalco Multilingual Short Story Competition. From January 29 to June 15, 2024, Elitza Gueorguieva will lead writing workshops for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as a series of meetings open to all audiences with translingual or heterolingual women writers from various cultural backgrounds.
