Fundamental and applied research

Research at Inalco combines cultural areas and disciplinary fields. This cross-fertilization, which is particularly fruitful in scientific terms, concerns the study of languages as well as the history, geography, institutions and political, economic and social life of the countries and regions concerned. Inalco's researchers and research teams work on all the world's major regions (Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas, Oceania), taking a situated, thematic and (inter)disciplinary approach. Research is conducted by 14 teams, half of which are under joint supervision with the CNRS and IRD research organizations.

You have obtained a diploma at Inalco: Licence, Master, diplôme d'initiation, diplôme intensif, DLC, DL, DC. You can collect your diploma from office 3.47 without an appointment from Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm, or give a proxy to a third party, or ask for it to be sent by post. In the case of postal delivery, please do not affix the registered mail slip to the envelope. We recommend that you send an e-mail to diplome@inalco.fr before you leave.
