The international survey "Research, training and expertise in "prevented" or "hindered" fields: practices, methods and new resources", initiated by Inalco, invited researchers and young scholars in areal studies to answer a questionnaire based on their most recent field experience. The first results were published in December 2024. The survey is entering its second phase to refine and complete the initial results, and is open until May 30, 2025.

As part of the French-Vietnamese Year of Innovation, the French Embassy in Vietnam has commissioned several teams from Inalco (Continuing Education, Vietnamese section, International Trade) to carry out a study of the innovation ecosystem in Vietnam, and an associated lexicon, scheduled for launch at the end of April.
