Launch of a MOOC on plurilingualism in language teaching and learning

Available online via the FUN MOOC platform, Inalco's "Décloisonner les langues : approches plurielles du français" course is aimed in particular at advanced learners of French, as well as teachers or future teachers of French as a foreign language (FLE) wishing to deepen their knowledge of the French language or integrate a pluralistic approach into their teaching. Registration for the first session is open until March 3, and the course will run from February 20 to April 9, 2023.

Launch of a SPOC (Small Private Online Course) to learn the Czech language

Inalco's Continuing Education department, in partnership with the FUN platform, is launching a new SPOC for learning the Czech language. This professional training course is aimed at people wishing to acquire the basics of the Czech language and cultural elements in a small group, while benefiting from personalized support from an expert trainer. The first session will run from March 21 to May 12, 2023, on the FUN platform. Registration is open from February 6 to February 20, 2023.

The Foundation is pleased to announce that Inalco has been awarded the "Arts and Heritage of Afghanistan" Chair by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. This chair is the culmination of a year's work by the Foundation and Inalco on this geographical area. Its main aim will be to safeguard, enrich and transmit knowledge relating to the arts and heritage of Afghanistan in a period of decline due to the country's situation.

The 29th Festival International des Cinémas d'Asie de Vesoul came to a close on Tuesday March 7. The Cyclo d'Or, FICA's highest award, went to "The Sales Girl" by Mongolian director Sengedorj Janchivdorj. The Inalco jury was on hand to present its prize and its favorite of the nine films in the fiction competition.

Since the start of the 2022 academic year, the Continuing Education department has been offering short, thematic training courses, led by expert speakers and focusing on socio-economic and geopolitical topics, security and defense issues, or multicultural team management. These courses are aimed at executives from the private, public or associative sectors, project managers, diplomats, military personnel and anyone wishing to develop their intercultural knowledge and skills by working on practical cases. The next thematic training course will present Vietnam's "business environment" and "cultural environment", on June 3 and 10, 2023.
