9th ceremony of the Emile Guimet Prize for Asian Literature

For the new edition of the Emile Guimet Prize for Asian Literature, the winners of which will be announced on June 3, 2026, the Guimet Museum will for the second time be awarding the Inalco Student Prize for Manga, in addition to the Novel Prize and the Comic Book Prize.

Created to highlight the richness and diversity of Asian literature translated into French, the Émile Guimet Prize for Asian Literature enters its ninth edition this year with a selection of outstanding works.

Inalco and the Guimet Museum joined forces in 2025 to create the "Inalco Student Prize for Manga", which will be awarded for the second time at this ceremony.

The names of the winners in the three categories will be announced by Laure Adler, author, journalist and producer, President of the jury for this 9th edition.

Readings by Noam Morgensztern, member of the Comédie-Française.

The awards ceremony will be followed by a cocktail reception.
