The Centre de Recherches Europes-Eurasie-CREE (Inalco) is organizing a round table, co-organized by the Observatoire des Etats Post-Ssoviétiques and the Observatoire de l'Europe Médiane Contemporaine, to better understand the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. It is aimed at the general public, as well as French-speaking journalists and students interested in the current crisis.

Inalco and the Musée Guimet have joined forces to create the "Inalco Student Prize for Manga", which will be awarded for the first time this year as part of the 8th Prix Émile Guimet for Asian Literature. The Inalco jury is made up of five students from the Japanese Studies department, from a variety of backgrounds and levels, who met from December 2024 to March 2025 to examine, analyze and debate the 8 mangas in competition, all of which were translated and published in France in 2024. The winning title will be announced on June 4, 2025 at an awards ceremony held at the Musée Guimet, and will receive an endowment of 2,500 euros from the museum.
