On July 23, 1952, the Free Officers took power in Egypt. Between August 1953 and January 1954, Gamal Abdel Nasser wrote three newspaper articles entitled The Philosophy of the Revolution. In them, he asserted that the army's movement was not a coup d'état but a revolution.

On July 7, Odile Racine, professor of Swahili at Inalco, was invited to Unesco headquarters in Paris to take part in the first World Kiswahili Language Day. Under the theme "Kiswahili for peace and prosperity", the day was celebrated in several East African states and universities around the world.

Yet in the territories of asylum, dozens of languages meet and cross at borders. Is it then a great misunderstanding or a language of migration that emerges in these territories of Babel?
