At the initiative of the Ukrainian Embassy in France, President Volodymyr Zelensky will address students from Inalco, Sciences Po, Institut National du Service Public, Ecole Polytechnique and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne live via video on Wednesday May 11 at 1pm. He will give a speech, followed by a discussion with a limited number of students from each of these institutions, in the Boutmy amphitheatre at Sciences Po. The conference will be broadcast live in the auditorium of the Pôle des Langues et Civilisations and on the Inalco website.

Bulgarian writer Theodora Dimova is the first winner of the Fragonard Prize for Foreign Literature for her novel "Les Dévastés", translated from Bulgarian by Marie-Vrinat Nikolov. Created this year by the Fragonard perfume house, the prize aims to "crown a new female voice from abroad".

Echoing the symposium "Usages et valeurs du noir en Asie de l'Est" (Uses and values of black in East Asia), a group exhibition is organized in the Pôle des langues et civilisations gallery on June 8, 2022. Rather than understanding "black" as a color, this exhibition questions the multiple futures of the ink tradition in East Asia, a heritage shared by the 25 painters, calligraphers, visual artists, ceramists, photographers and engravers present along the way. Several guided tours will be organized throughout the day.
