The CREE (Inalco) is organizing a conference-debate on the occasion of the forthcoming publication of issue 147 of the Revue d'Economie Financière "War in Ukraine: economic and financial deflagrations and recompositions". The aim of this special issue is "to bring to light the main economic issues at stake in the current conflict, and to provide the reader with useful reading keys for considering future scenarios (Introduction, REF 147)".

Mon Master, the new national platform for applying to Master 1 courses

For the start of the 2023 academic year, the process for entering the first year of a Master's program is changing. The new "Mon Master" online platform is the successor to the "Trouvermonmaster" portal. It provides access to and applications for the full range of master's courses offered by accredited higher education establishments. More than 3,500 courses and 8,000 master's programs are listed. The platform has been open since Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Applications will be accepted from March 22, 2023.

The Master's 2 "Heritage and Memory Policies" seminar covers a vast geographical area, and for the past ten years has been drawing up an inventory of extremely diverse heritage issues. An online research notebook dedicated to the seminar was opened on the Hypotheses platform during the first semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. It aims to showcase the work carried out by students as part of the seminar through short posts covering current heritage issues around the world.
Short vocational training course on Turkey, in March and April 2023

Since the start of the 2022 academic year, the Continuing Education department has been offering short thematic training courses, led by expert lecturers, and focusing on socio-economic and geopolitical topics, security and defense issues, or multicultural team management. These courses are aimed at executives from the private, public or associative sectors, project managers, diplomats, military personnel and anyone wishing to develop their intercultural knowledge and skills by working on practical cases. After having dealt with Ukraine's foreign and security policy, the next thematic training session will focus on Turkey's risks and opportunities on Fridays March 17, March 24 and April 7, 2023.

Inalco's Environment course, in partnership with the CESSMA research laboratory, is launching the first edition of its spring school "Water, a resource under high tension? Dedicated this year to contemporary water issues, the course is part of a broader reflection initiated by Inalco on the environment from the perspective of human and social sciences and areal studies.
