A Quichua storyteller and her repertoire
Page de contenu
During her master's degree in Oralité at Inalco, doctoral student Verónica Valencia Baño acquired the skills needed to compile the repertoire of a Quichua storyteller from Ecuador, using an ethnolinguistic approach based on the notion of textual unity. Her current research, carried out as part of a psychoanalytical thesis, raises the question of the relationship that the storyteller establishes with her tales, and highlights the psychic stakes involved in the transmission of Andean oral literature in a context of erosion of this tradition. Verónica Valencia Baño looks back on this research.
