From May 21 to 23, 2026, the Expérimentarium network celebrated its 25th anniversary in Dijon. On this occasion, Inalco was pleased to be represented by several of its young researchers, alongside scientists from all over France, Quebec and La Réunion. Created in 2001 at the University of Burgundy, the Expérimentarium network today brings together several higher education and research establishments with a common objective: to train doctoral students in scientific mediation and encourage encounters between research and a wide range of audiences.

The Mediterranean as a Space of (Im)mobility: Circulation and Stasis in Times of Bordering

How can we think of the Mediterranean as a space of circulation, passage and anchorage, but also as a space of blockage, waiting and control? This keynote address, organized as part of the BIP event "Lives Between Shores: Migration Across the Mediterranean", will be given by Camille Schmoll, Director of Studies at EHESS, on the issues of mobility and immobility in the Mediterranean at a time of tightening borders.
